This is the first release of a NEW SERIES from the Royal Australian Coat of Arms Silver Mint Coin celebrates the intricacy of the Australian Commonwealth Coat of Arms. The coin features two exquisitely crafted images based upon the current generation of the Arms, which was authorized by King George V more than a century ago, in 1912. The Arm’s animal elements, a kangaroo and an emu, both make an appearance on the coin as symbols of progress, as neither creature has the ability to move backwards.

This silver mint coin has the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, created in 2015 by renowned Royal Mint sculptor Jody Clark, is positioned in a circle on the obverse, balanced within the branches of a widespread growth of golden wattle, the Commonwealth’s floral symbol. Beside the effigy, an emu stands alert, above its leafy nest of unhatched eggs. The Commonwealth Star hovers above the emu. The star’s seven points represent the six states and the territories of Australia. This silver mint coin is a collectible treasure for any coin collecting portfolio.
